The race for the Barclays Premier Legue is turning out to be stronger than ever seen before, with barely 6 points separating the top 7 clubs. The coveted Champions League spots are up for grabs even for teams other than the big-four. Aston Villa are at fifth spot just a point behind fourth placed Arsenal, which looks like a very unpredictable team these days.
The gunners on one hand beat Manchester United while on the other drop points against minnows Stoke City. Although, this proves the competence and the sheer toughness of the league. No team can be taken lightly and this is the reason why so many superstars love to being a part of English football. Continuing with the premier league, Liverpool and Chelsea seem to be fighting head on for the title.
It has been a pleasant surprise to see Anfield heroes finallu having a shot at the title after a long gap. It seems the stupendous historic success of theirs have finally rubbed off on them. Chelsea as always are the team to beat and their super-squad will prove to be their advantage in the coming matches with the injury list ever-increasing due to international fixtures etc.
Lampard and company definitely would desire to bring back the title to Stamford Bridge that last was won by the effervescent Jose Mourinho. Manchester United will look to the newly crowned European Footballer of the year, Christiano Ronaldo and other stars like Wayne Rooney to repeat the success story of last season which saw them winning bothy the Champions League and the Barclays Premier League. Manchester City, despite heavy spending have still to impress, which again ascertains the fact that quality cannot be bought.
Who is going to win the league? We can just wait and watch, and of course, enjoy the beautiful game!
